Photographic Memory- Children Born Genius !

(The Photographic Memory is also known as the ‘Eidetic Memory’.)

I feel that I have a responsibility to reveal certain secrets to you here at MIND to MIND. Secrets that hold you back from your success.

Photographic Memory…

Have you ever wondered about the people with photographic memory?

What would you think if I told you that you were born with a photographic memory?

Some people carry over the photographic memory into adulthood. If you are not one of these people, why didn’t you carry it over as an adult too? Learn how to develop photographic memory!

Stand by to be SHOCKED!

The answer to this is reading!

We were all born with a #PhotographicMemory. We never lose it. We have just lost the ability to USE it. Actually, more correctly, we’ve misplaced the access to it.

You learned phenomenal things as a small child — languages, social skills, etc. THEN, you went to school to learn a superior way to learn, or so we are led to believe. Statistics show that once we enter school, based on the rote – #memory system of learning, learning slows down from that point on.
So, what is the primary thing that changed? You learned how to read! By learning how to read, no matter how ineffective it may be for you, you were force fed to learn it, or you were ostracized. A renegade! Some of those renegades are the same people that have carried over their photographic memory as an adult.
You see, the mechanics to learn to read, such as en-trained tunnel vision, directly oppose you natural ability to access and utilize the photographic memory. By learning reading, a learned brain function, you gave up access to your natural brain function of the photographic memory.

Mental Photography and Learning

Solution: You can learn how to access your natural photographic memory again by learning #Mental Photography techniques. What’s even more amazing is that while you are learning how to access your photographic memory, you start to see many other things start happening from exercising your #brain this way.

You know how to use mental photography and wonder why your children are genius and you’re not? Now you know!

Brain Management Psychic Development

Be Your Own Psychic – Discover Your Own Path

As with all of the articles I present, I offer intrigue, different ways to look at things, observations of Human Nature, and the evolving Human Brain and Mind. Did you know that everyone is Psychic? You are! Does that sound so surprising to you?

When was the last time you had a portentous dream, or was just thinking about a person you hadn’t seen in a long time, and there he is – appearing right in front of you? See, you ARE psychic. But do you use it on a regular basis, can you call up the ability at will, are you accurate with what you perceive as insight? These are typical questions that define professional world-class psychics.

Since there are many forms of psychic abilities (clairvoyance, clairaudient, empathic, telepathy, etc.), you may be stronger in one talent over others. If you want to develop your skill in this area, you must use it. You must use your brain in that direction to strengthen that skill.

Scientists have known for ages that the brain cavity is a great receiver for radio waves as well as many other forms of radiation. People can detect the slightest deviation around them by sensing it. Dowsers focus in on specific frequencies emitted by what they want to detect. A really good dowser doesn’t actually need dowsing rods – their body becomes the conductor.

Gee, other people can do psychic things. What about you?

Many of my clients that have learned Mental Photography have stated that even though they didn’t consider themselves psychic, they started to experience what can only be referred to as psychic events. And my clients that already had varying degrees of psychic abilities have claimed that they have jumped their abilities “up” a big notch.

When You Were a Child

So what could you do? Think back when you were a child. Did you ever experience something that just could not be explained? Maybe something that upset or frightened your parents?… maybe something that your parents told you not to do “that” anymore? Is it possible that you were showing psychic abilities?
We all have special unique abilities. Why not psychic abilities as well?

Today, there is allot of upset in many peoples financial life. What if you could see into your future? This is why there are so many people contacting their personal psychics right now. And some people that have never used a psychic are contacting them for the first time. This may be the first time in their life that their footing is NOT on solid ground. They need perspective and direction.

You Are Your Own Best Psychic

If you have never contacted a psychic, and needed direction, where should you go first? You should first go to YOURSELF ! You ARE your own BEST Psychic. You actually have stored within you the path you need to be on. Once you understand the inner workings of your mind, you can tap into this information yourself, without the need for a Psychic to tell you what to do.

Wouldn’t you like to know within yourself, What to do? You can. By applying any level of our training to this objective, you can become your own self-fulfilling prophecy. Now just because you make the correct and best decision doesn’t mean that you won’t have challenges – that’s LIFE!

Now there are many ways to get in touch with your inner self, but the one I know most about is our training. Again, any level of our training can be applied in this direction – Even ZOX Pro Training.

You owe it to Yourself

If you have set aside or stopped using a psychic skill or ability as a child, you owe it to yourself to revisit it. By knowing about it and NOT embracing it; you are in “denial”! When you are in denial, you are lying to yourself. To carry a lie around with you weakens your entire system and leaves you vulnerable. So, to be your best, you should reconsider if this sounds like you.

Where Should I Start?

Even though there are many different ways to encourage this development, I will tell you about what I do know:

1. First, you need to gain clear information that is provided to you without any agenda attached.
2. Second, you need to find answers specific to your personal directions. These answers are best provided to you when they come from you. You actually know what’s in your best interest. They are locked away in your head just waiting for you to ask.
3. Third, Lay out your path before you based on your personal discoveries.

One of the easiest ways to access ALL of the above is the Brain Management System. That means that ZOX Pro Training, Brain Management Seminar, and eBrain Executive Seminar, all have the components that can be structured to achieve your ends.

Pheromones – Does a Law on Human Attraction Exist?

Pheromones – Elixir or Myth?

Some of you may find this article intriguing. Some may find it disgusting. And some may just find it a bit “on the nose”! But, you need to think, where would we all be without our olfactory sense?

“Opposites attract” is a law of attraction, at least where electromagnetism is concerned. But are there laws about attraction between two people? For men, It is a thinking that How to mentally attract women? “In a world that is full of strangers” as a line in a famous song of the 1980’s goes, is there a clear set of rules that allows two people to fall for each other? Romantic passion stays active for about 2 weeks. Is that the time it takes for us to get accustomed to the pheromones of the other person? e.g. female pheromones to attract men.

Do Pheromones actually work? Is attraction a matter of chemistry?

Chemical effects of Pheromones

Maybe. According to scientists, the attraction between animals of the opposite sex is all about chemicals called pheromones. The effect of pheromones in behavior of insects is the most studied to date. It has been observed, at least in some experiments, that pheromones are responsible for communication among same species and colony of ants. The horrible odor released by skunks to ward off enemies is said to be a kind of pheromone. Some species of apes rub pheromone-containing urine on the feet of potential mates to attract them. Some scientists believe that animals (usually the females) such as insects and mammals send out these chemical signals to tell the male of their species that their genes are different from theirs. This gene diversity is important in producing offspring with better chances of survival. The perfume industry has capitalized on pheromones as a means to increase one’s sexual attractiveness to the opposite sex. Animals such as the whale and the musk deer were hunted down for these chemicals.

Lately, scientists are looking into the existence of human pheromones and its role in mate selection. There are many conflicting views in the realm of biology, chemistry, genetics, and psychology. Most scientists would assert that these do not exist, or if they do, do not play a role in sexual attraction between a man and a woman. But new researches such as that conducted by Swiss researchers from the University of Bern led by Klaus Wedekind are slowly making these scientists rethink their stand. Their experiment involved women sniffing the cotton shirts of different men during their ovulation period. It was found out that women prefer the smell of men’s shirts that were genetically different, but also shared similarities with the women’s genes. This, like in the case of insects and other mammals, was to ensure better and healthier characteristics for their future children. But researchers also cautioned that preference for a male odor is affected by the women’s ovulation period, the food that men eat, perfumes and other scented body products, and the use of contraceptive pills.

Does personality figure in sexual attraction?

Yes, but so does your perception of a potential mate’s personality, there are four basic personality types. According to a research conducted by Klohnen, E.C., & S. Luo in 2003 on interpersonal attraction and personality, a person’s sense of self-security and at least the person’s perception of his/her partner were found to be strong determinants of attraction in hypothetical situations. What does this tell us? We prefer a certain personality type, which attracts you to a person. But aside from the actual personality of the person, which can only be verified through close interaction through time, it is your perception of your potential partner that attracts you to him/her, whether the person of your affection truly has that kind of personality or not. How much do ‘unseen’ pheromones play a part in the continued affection? This could probably account for a statement commonly heard from men and women on their failed relationships: “I thought he/she was this kind of person.”

So how does attraction figure in relationships?

You have probably heard that attraction is a prelude, or a factor towards a relationship. Most probably, at least in the beginning; but attraction alone cannot make a relationship work. It is that attraction that makes you notice a person from the opposite sex, but once you get to know the person more, attraction is just one consideration. Shared values, dreams, and passions become more significant in long-term relationships.

So should I stop trying to become attractive?

Smelly Pheromones…

More than trying to become physically attractive, work on all aspects of your health: physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual. Physical attraction is still a precursor. Remember, biology, including pheromones, predisposes us to choose the partner with the healthiest genes. Where your emotions are concerned, just ask this to yourself: would you want to spend time with a person who feels insecure about him/herself? Probably not! There is wisdom in knowing yourself: who you are, your beliefs, values, and dreams. And do not pretend to be someone you are not. Fooling another person by making him/her think that you share the same values and beliefs is only going to cause you both disappointments. When you are healthy in all aspects, attractiveness becomes a consequence and not an end. As mentioned in the Klohnen and Luo’s research, a person’s sense of self-security matters, perhaps even beyond attraction. But remember: do these things for yourself and not for other people. Only then can you truly harness your attractiveness as a person.

Walking on Fire – Firewalking on Hot Coals at Guru Mountain

Brad Johnson, a client of the Brain Management training, is sharing his story about his experience when learning how to walk on fire from a Firewalking Guru. He points out his observations as how the Firewalking training has some of the same similarities that most other motivationally based trainings also have. Firewalking is used to help you gain perspective that you can overcome your limiting beliefs. Brads Post-event observations will give you new insights into the differences between positive motivation and self motivation. Get ready for a “fun” read…

Shannon Panzo, PhD

Firewalking

A while back, I was at a barbeque with some of my buddies. As we were having a good time and few tonics later, one of my buddies suggest, “How about if we all go learn firewalking together?” “Wow, that’s great!”, we all agreed. I thought it would be cool to watch what everyone did, and how they reacted to it. So we began planning for the event.

Before leaving on the trip to learn firewalking, two of the 6 chickened out. Originally, they all thought it would be fun getting together with some Guru to teach us how walking on red hot coals was going to magically change us into human beings. Perhaps it is a way to burn the sins away through the soles of our feet. …and then there were 4.

Road Trip to Walk on Fire
So, off we go to the mountain of the Guru. Along the way, if you are not accustomed to the rigours of road travel, road food as you find in gas stations, is not always the best. These creations are made of indestructible materials that could be three days old and still look fresh; especially that fried thing referred to as “veggie”. No, it was not made by micro-vegans sitting out back waiting to prepare your food. After fuelling up, we trekked onto Guru Mountain, where the joys of living the never care attitude would be burned out of us.

About 30 minutes down the road we had to make a sudden stop. Our panic stricken companion had previously eaten the Fried Vegan Surprise had just found the “surprise” awaiting him was Mr. Ptomaine. He was heaving over the guard rails of the highway, with onlookers tooting and hooting as they drove by. We got off at the nearest town and called up his wife to come and get him. …and then there were 3.
The rest of the trip to Guru Mountain was uneventful because the rest of us feasted on salty bag food – chips and such, and drank soda with enough carbonic acid to clean the road dirt off of the mag wheels. We all had a good laugh about the Vegan food our buddy ate.

Guru Mountain
We finally arrive in Guru Territory – a nice place in the mountains with plenty of trees. We did hear about the stream nearby that flowed with the spring snow-melt. But it was mid summer, and the stream was as dry as a lizard’s back.

As we were greeted, the lady asked where #4 in our group was. We told her about the misadventure with the vegan food encountered on the way. She informed us his Firewalking fee was nonrefundable. As we were signing the waivers for bodily damage, I asked if we could take his portion of the food with us in a doggies bag. She smiled and walked away.

The Journey Begins…
Thus, we begin our journey into the unknown, hoping to come out with our limbs intact. Any further risk of food poisoning was diminished as the fare consisted of fruit, fruit juice, and herbal teas. Not a single cup of coffee to be found.

Most of our day was spent hearing about mind over matter, believing in yourself, and channelling our energy to create a heat resistant shielding to the bottoms of our feet, or our idea of what that would be, as they were subjected blistering temperatures of red hot coals with our body weight pressing down. (They should be teaching levitation instead, so we could just float over the coals instead.) Really, I had heard it all before. The only difference was the ‘why’ behind it.

My thoughts meandered over to the bed of coals. It would seem a shame to have all those good coals go to waste. After everyone gets done with their firewalk, we could have a barbeque! Oh well… probably not. The organisers would say it is akin to heresy.

Back to the lecture on Firewalking…
Apparently, when you feel really good about yourself, your brain releases endorphins that make you high, and dopamine that deals with the pain. After digesting all the information why we can physically and mentally achieve the feat of firewalking, we got a good dose of positive motivation, to make us all feel really good about stepping from the pan into the fire. Many of the attendees like the time honoured “cool moss” approach.

When you attend this type of event, you would expect the Guru to be giving his part of the talk while standing on the coals. Nope. He stood in front of it while the “fire-people minded the fire.

Leading up to the Firewalk, we had a Dinner of more fruit, salads, Juice, and herbal teas, and all the water you can drink, anticipating frying your feet.

Before the Firewalk commenced, everyone was involved in a group meditation meant to calm us down and put us into a state of consciousness conducive with walking over hot coals, and telling our body how it was going to react to the extreme heat you are not used to be experiencing.

When I was a kid, I remember my grandfather always putting his cigarette out in his hand; a trick he learned in World War II. This was so he could have a smoke with his hand hiding the ember, so the ‘enemy’ was not able to detect the ember. He did this feat without even a thought. This gives me the evidence and strength to be able to do something similar – Firewalking. Sure, the size is a bit different, but when the mind works it through, it should not matter.

Ready for the Firewalk…
After the Guru and his helpers make their way across the coals to show us it can actually be done without incurring injury or burns, it was our turn. Some people did it as a fast walk, some took a running start barely touching down over the length, and a couple chose to jump off the side. one of my buddies was in front of me. He came through fine. I did a fast walk and came out okay.

The girl behind me must have been a little dehydrated and seemed overwhelmed by the heat. She stumbled and fell , causing second and third degree burns to her feet and legs. The Helpers quickly got her out of there for treatment. (The odour of burned flesh reminiscent of the barbeque I had pondered about earlier, that we could have been having instead.)

Next in line was my other buddy, that by now was losing his nerve along with his ‘cool moss’ thinking. He ran through and still got some burns and blisters on his feet, which the Helpers quickly dressed. He took a couple of days off of work and lost bragging rights.

After the main event, everyone was invited to stay for an evening of frivolity. The vegetarian feast would continue into the night. It seemed the hot coals were going to go to waste after all. I can imagine what would have happened if we had tossed a steak onto the coals.

My friends and I decided we had had enough and left the mountain party behind. We came, we heard, we saw, and we conquered! Even through some burns and seared skin we did find that we could do it. What a rush! Exhilarating!

The Letdown…
The experience of the Firewalk puts you on a high. It is exhilarating. But the rush went away too quickly. I decided to recreate the firewalking event in my back yard. I built the fire and raked out the coals the same as on Guru Mountain. Did my meditation, then proceeded to walk across the red hot coals. WOW, I actually did it on my own. That was great! So I walked across the coals again. Over the next couple of weeks, I repeated the same thing a few more times. My back yard began to look like scorched earth of a sci-fi flick. It got BORING. It no longer gave me a zing or rush – nothing. I lost interest.

Repeat history…
For some reason I felt I was here before. What was it? What was the common denominator? Previously, I had done many things. All of those things in one way or another had ‘positive motivation’ alongside whatever I was being taught. Positive motivation is great at the time it is used. You feel great and everyone around you feels great too. Even though we are all experiencing that high, most people realise it will not last, and they are just getting their “fix”. It reminds me of going to a positive motivational seminar, and they give you a list of statements you are to stick up copies all over everything and recite these to yourself many times each day. After several days nothing has changed, and you just give up because you feel worst than before your ‘dose’ of positive motivation.

The Exception…
Out of all of the seminars I have attended, there is only one that taught me information I never even knew existed. They also showed me by using their techniques, I could repeatedly improve my life and motivate myself along the way. (You don’t need positive motivation when you can motivate yourself, self motivation is worth tons more.) They showed me how to continuously build my own brain on my own terms. They told me to be my own boss and take charge of my life. I could be independent and make my own decisions, and they have always been there for me if I have any questions on how to use the techniques.

That one seminar has done more for me than all of the other seminars combined. My only regret is I spent my money, time, and effort to go to all of those other seminars, when I actually only needed this 1 seminar. Best of all, it is a complete system. They don’t leave you hanging for more. No surprise… I am talking about Brain Management, and it comes with Mental Photography – first started by Richard Welch and carried over by Shannon Panzo, his long time confidant and protegee. They even have an Internet based training called ZOX Pro Training.

At the center of these training is the technique that uses your photographic memory to read anything at incredible speed. They show you how to do it, and give you tests to help you understand that you are actually doing it. The types of results talked about in the seminar seem outlandish at first. Over time, I have seen them all come through – more than I could ever have imagined back then.

Sure, I went to school like everyone else. But I would have rather been doing other things. School was boring. So, when Brain Management showed me showed me how I could learn at speeds I could barely comprehend, suddenly the light bulb came on. There is no way any school would teach this. People might actually like going to school if they were taught to learn at these speeds. It sure beats out Firewalking on red hot coals at Guru Mountain.

If you want training that you can use to enhance any part of your life, then you need to take me seriously, when I say, “This is the ONE seminar that will make your life great!”. When they say “Great Things Happen Here!” They sure do, and it never stops happening.

Get Better Memory & Stop Forgetfulness in the New Year

Embarrassing…  isn’t it?

Picture yourself in the company of many respected people in your line of work or profession. It can be a highly charged situation, with jousting and sabre-rattling. You must be at your best. You bump into someone important or want to introduce someone, just to find you have forgotten their name.

This is the typical stressful situation you are most likely to forget – when it is most important. When you know your memory is not as sharp as what it should be it raises the stress level. Your confidence plays a big part in allowing memories to traverse the canyon into the now. Likewise, if you are not confident, even the correct memory can fall into the abyss. Opportunity missed.

If you are not affected by this, then you probably know someone that is; a friend or family member, a colleague or co-worker, or perhaps a manager. Of course business managers are supposed to know all the people they come in contact with right? Only in a dream for most.

What does Your Memory mean to You?

Your memory and the ability to use it is a precious asset. Your memory contains the sum of all of the experiences you have had throughout life. If there is any one thing in life that defines a person, it is their memory. It has made them what they are, it shapes the way they react to events, and often shows the experience level a person achieves in life. Take every step possible to keep it functioning well. Without memories, a person becomes empty and separated, with feelings of loneliness and uselessness.

If you find you have difficulty remembering your children’s names, then you better take a firm grip on your reality and get some help fast. If it is nothing, then you have not lost anything in having it checked.

Memory Misplacement

This has become  such an issue for people, there are tons of memory courses on the market, that are positioned to salvage your dignity along with your memory. Many of these follow the “Peter Principle“, and will only take you to the highest level of incompetency.  It is likely that you would rather stay in a system that is unwieldy and difficult for you, than to find a different system that works for you. (The same thing happens when people are ‘readers’.)

Often we see demonstrators that make a living from grandstanding to promote a memory course. They will enchant us with how “they” can memorize names and occupations of 100 people in a couple of minutes, using a particular technique.  “Wow!” screams the audience, ” that is we want! …no more embarrassment!” Yes, there are courses that will train you how to do likewise. What is involved? Will it automatically be there for you at any time you need to use it in the future? Unless you continually refresh it, probably not. Is that type of training for you?

My Experience in the Brain Training Game…

I have reviewed far too many super memory trainings than I wish to think about over the years. Perhaps I was looking to stumble over the “magic pill” romance that many are led to believe. I have never found any sign of that magic pill, unless you just happened to be wired up that way to start with. Granted, most are not.

Memory training is a critical part of what Brain Management is all about. Brain Management first deals with accessing the NATURAL Photographic Memory, then stimulating memory growth naturally as a by-product of exercising the brain in this fashion. I have been presenting Brain Management for many years, and have consistently heard from our clients our training should be marketed more for the memory enhancement you get from it.

IMPORTANT: There is one thing above all else to consider when discovering the best memory training for you. If it does not feel natural, then you will probably stop using it.

Memory Trainings

There are relatively 4 different types of memory training. (To keep things easy to understand, we are stopping at 4 styles, although more are available.) I have listed them in order to the frequency how often they are taught to the public:

Rote Memory – This is the method you learn in school. This is when you simply keep going over the same information time and again until you have memorised it. Consumes the most amount of time and effort. Efficient only for the specific information you have dealt with in this matter. Once this type of information is forced over into the long term memory, you feel like you learned it.

Taught – First

Efficiency – Low

Lasting Long Term Memory – Yes

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Cup & Hook (associative) Method – This is the method you will usually see in action when the demonstrator is going around the room learning names. The basic premise is similar for this style – you will assign something that symbolises or represents certain characteristics around the specific thing you want to remember.  This is a good method and it is effective in most circumstances. It gives you a structure you can follow. If you stop using it for a period of time, you must go back to the beginning and start building all over again. It does not permanently build structure in the brain, at least not in the short term. Maybe those areas would improve over a great amount of time and continual practice.
Taught – Second
Efficiency – Varies with the amount of ongoing practice.  Loses effectiveness fast.
Lasting Long Term Memory – The efficiency of the method fades over time. But some memory may be picked getting through rote, from exposure.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Mnemonics – This is a series of 9 different types of memory strategies. Once you learn all of them and how to properly use them, then you can use them in such ways:

  1. music or lyrics
  2. names (ROY G. BIV= Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet)
  3. words or expressions
  4. models and diagrams
  5. rhymes
  6. notes or note cards
  7. outlines
  8. images
  9. connections and spelling

Each type is different and can be applied differently.  To become good at all of them would be a considerable undertaking.  If a person is willing to put in the time to understanding and using them, it is quite a formidable package. To have a good understanding in all of them should come with a medal; for sheer determination.

Taught – Third

Efficiency – High, but comes at a price.  Best used for passing detailed testing, and remembering specific details.

Lasting Long Term Memory – similar – due to cross-exposure of information, memories are likely to last longer in this format, as they often have a connecting structure built around the concept or word, and building links to other associative memories.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Mental Photography – Mental Photography works in a very different way. This method places memory as second to photographic memory.
Even though being very effective for memory building, Mental Photography uses and exercises another natural brain function first – the Photographic Memory. By stimulating the photographic memory (eidetic memory) and delivering information at high rates of speed that pushes the serviceability of the brain. Through neuroplasticity, the brain triggers production of more neurons, synapses, and dendrites. All of this action in the brain essentially adds or grows more memory. Once more memory and connections are available, then accessing memory for any purposes is much easier.
This building process does not happen overnight. There are billions of connections within the structure of the brain. This action creates more neurons that will be connected into the rest of the system to increase memory.
Since Mental Photography is usually used foremost for large volume information retention, it is a wonderful benefit that you are actually growing more usable memory as by-product  of exercising the brain in this way.
Taught – Forth
Efficiency – Excellent…
Information Retention >50,000 wpm or more
Memory gain – High to infinity.
More use  will stimulate further growth. No limitation known. Time spent creates results in many areas using 1 basic set of exercises. Daily use gives better and ongoing results.
Lasting Long Term Memory – Excellent – approximately 100% for life.
More than any other method, Brain Management (and ZOX Pro Training) uses Mental Photography at the core of its’ teaching. Mental Photography was invented by Richard Welch, PhD, my Mentor and colleague. I have worked directly with him since 1986.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

If memory is important to you, and you want to make 2017 a Year to Remember, then you should consider your options as I have presented here. Brain Management, Mental Photography, and ZOX Pro Training have many more benefits than have been discussed in this article.

ZOX Wisdom Chapter 1 – Mental Photography Photographic Memory Enhancement

ZOX Pro Method is Over 10 Times More Effective than Others

4 Methods for Better Memory & Learning

Forgetting an anniversary can be fatal. Secret natural photographic memory method Mental Photography grows memory via neuroplasticity over memory techniques, including Mnemonics, due to a new approach for memory growth and restoration, reveals ZOX Pro is over 10 times more effective than other memory trainings and memorization methods. Comparison of Mental Photography with other top memory training techniques included below.

Top 10 Problems for Most People includes Memory

“Anniversary Oversight” can Kill a Relationship
Forgotten something that was important to someone else? Actually, it happens all the time. In this fast paced world sometimes it is difficult for people to find the time to remember important things. What may be important for one person, may not be priority for the other person. Take names for instance. Most people forget the names of important people around them. It could be at their job, or in their professional environment. It could even be family members. Just think how many sit-com episodes have been created on the man forgetting his Anniversary or the wife’s Birthday.

So remembering things seems to be something a person should take extra care to do. Keep in mind. All those nice little digital devices are fallible. They are programmed to provide a response. That is, unless they were programmed by the person that ‘forgot’ the instructions. So, if the instructions are missing and cannot be found on line, the relationship may be in grave danger of “Anniversary Oversight”; a sure deal breaker.

Stress is a Name Killer
Whether the board meeting or the company picnic, people take the opportunity to impress others. However, it does not impress people when their name is forgotten during an introduction. Even though these meetings can provide opportunity, they can lure disaster into the recipe. People in this environment are under stress to perform. If they don’t perform well, stress levels go up and the disaster is more likely.

Memory Strategy – Plan Ahead

What does better Memory mean?

Often we will see demonstrators that make a living from grand-standing for a memory course. They will enchant us with how “they” can memorize names and occupations of 100 people in a couple of minutes, using a particular technique. “Wow!” screams the audience, ” that is we want! …no more embarrassment!”

Memory Trainings

There are relatively 4 different types of memory training. They are listed here in order to the frequency how often they are taught to the public:

Rote Memory – This is the method taught in school. Repetition – simply keep going over the same information time and again until it is memorised. Consumes the most amount of time and effort. Efficient only for the specific information dealt with in this matter. Once this type of information is forced over into the long term memory, the person feels like he learned it

As this is you first real exposure to a taught technique, it has low efficiency, but due to repetition, it tends to have lasting long term memory.

Cup & Hook (associative) Method – This is the method usually seen in action when a memory course demonstrator is going around the room learning names. The basic premise is similar for this style – the person will assign something that symbolises or represents certain characteristics around the specific thing he wants to remember. This is a good method and it is effective in most circumstances. It gives a structure to follow. If the person stops using it for a period of time, he must go back to the beginning and start building all over again. It does not permanently build structure in the brain, at least not in the short term. Maybe those areas would improve over a great amount of time and continual practice.

Usually touted as a memory trick, it is generally the second style learned. It can give a quick fix, but is not lasting. so is not very effective. The efficiency varies with the amount of ongoing practice, and does not support lasting long term memory.

Mnemonics – This is a series of 9 different types of memory strategies. Once a person learns all of them and how to properly use them, then they can be applied in many ways: Music or lyrics, names (ROY G. BIV = Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet), words or expressions, models and diagrams, rhymes, notes or note cards, outlines, images, connections and spelling are the different types.

Each type is different and can be applied differently. To become good at all of them would be a considerable undertaking. If a person is willing to put in the time to understanding and using them, it is quite a formidable package. To have a good understanding in all of them should come with a medal; for sheer determination.

Typically this is the third style taught, as it is meant for serious memorizing. The efficiency is high, but comes at a price. Best used for passing detailed testing, and remembering specific details. It does have lasting long term memory, but is similar to previous styles due to cross-exposure of information, memories are likely to last longer in this format, as they often have a connecting structure built around the concept or word, and building links to other associative memories.

Mental Photography

Mental Photography works in a very different way. The method places gaining Memory second behind gaining access to the Photographic Memory.

Even though being very effective for memory building, Mental Photography uses and exercises another natural brain function first – the Photographic Memory. By stimulating the photographic memory (eidetic memory) and delivering information at high rates of speed that pushes the serviceability of the brain. Through neuroplasticity, the brain triggers production of more neurons, synapses, and dendrites. All of this action in the brain essentially adds or grows more memory. Once more memory and connections are available, then accessing memory for any purposes is much easier.

This building process does not happen overnight. There are billions of neurons and trillions of connections within the structure of the brain. This dynamic action creates more neurons that will be connected into the rest of the system to increase memory.

Since Mental Photography is usually used foremost for large volume information retention, it is a wonderful benefit to actually grow more usable memory as by-product of exercising the brain in this way.

This method is exclusive, and is the forth method discussed here, but it is also the most powerful of any memory technique. It approaches memory differently, using the completely natural functions of the brain

The efficiency rating of Mental Photography is excellent:.

Information Retention >50,000 wpm or more

Memory gain – High to infinity.

More use will stimulate further growth. No limitation known. Time spent creates results in many areas using 1 basic set of exercises. Daily use gives better and ongoing results.

The lasting long term memory is excellent, with approximately 100% for life.

Mental Photography was invented in 1975 by Richard Welch, PhD,” the Father of Mental Photography”. Mental Photography is at the core of the teachings of Brain Management and ZOX Pro Training. These trainings also have many more benefits not mentioned here.

Memory is important. Consider the options. These methods range from short term fixes to life-long gain. Make this year the “Year to Remember”,

Don’t Forget…
