READERS AND SPEED READERS BEWARE – MENTAL PHOTOGRAPHY, ZOXING

Reading

Imagine pulling open a good long novel while sitting in your favourite chair in front of an open fireplace for a good long read.  Taking your time to absorb yourself in the plot as it thickens, the evening wears on. You find that even though you have been reading for over an hour, you have only gone through about 40 pages.  If you do the same thing every night for 10 days, you finally be at the end of your 400 page novel.  That’s fine, if you have plenty of time to burn.

Now, imagine what your employer would say if you told him you would be happy to peruse a 400 page report over the next 10 days and get back to him then.  What if you were to speed read instead?  Reading Doesn’t Work!

Speed Reading

It is no secret that when you speed read, you are neither reading everything, nor are you taking it all in for accuracy.  How do you feel about your skill with speed reading?  Do you feel that you have missed a lot?  Even if the document now only takes you one or two hours instead of 10 hours, do you feel your accuracy of information is there?  Are you confident in presenting your findings after just speed reading?  Probably not.

Let’s look at the statistics.  You have been told that reading is the most accurate way of dealing with information, right?  Did you know that you will immediately forget 50% of what you just read?  Can you imagine how ineffective reading is when you forget 95% of what you read, in only 48 hours?  Did you know that if you were given a comprehensive test covering all the topics you passed tests on in school that you would most likely fail miserably as an adult?

But when you look at speed reading, you would probably think that since you are using fewer words to get your information that you would be even worse off.  Right?…  Wrong!  Statistics prove that speed reading has higher comprehension of information, and even a longer hang time of the information than reading.

So why would people that learn speed reading, and know the statistics, go back to much slower ineffective reading for their information?  Most people do not have confidence in speed reading.  Even though the statistics prove otherwise, people were taught form an early age that reading is “the way”.  Speed Reading Fails!

Photographic Memory

There is another way to gain information that is much more effective that reading or speed reading.  When you were born, you had a photographic memory.  It isn’t limited to just seeing either.  It is a photographic memory on all senses.  It is called the eidetic memory.  Better yet, it is completely natural!

There is a new way to learn that uses that photographic memory you misplaced.  It is called Mental Photography.  It was invented in 1975 by Richard Welchfrom speed reading.

HOW TO BUILD UP A PHOTOGRAPHIC MEMORY

Many people trust their photographic memory to be an astoundingly handy tool in life.

There are a few photographic memory procedures that can be applied in the development of a photographic memory. Keep in mind; when you are born you have a photographic memory, which seems to reduce as you move into adulthood.

How to develop a Photographic memory?
After reading some data and you need to recall the facts, whatever you do is make a story which explains what you have read hilariously. For example, to hold data about the components of a computer take a mental photographic image of each part using a comical picture.

With these pictures, the data is captured in your mind with every one of the parts and their related pictures. (This tends to work better for outwardly oriented people, and having a good imagination also helps.)

If You Are Happy With Your Life, … Please Disregard

Wanted: 100 People for Change

(If You are completely happy with your life, don’t waste your time reading this.)

I am looking for 100 people that are unhappywith their life, AND are willing to do anything it takes to make it better.

◊ Would you… cover yourself in honey and stand in front of a bees nest?
◊ Would you… jump out of an airplane with a parachute you made yourself, from scratch?
◊ Would you… stand naked in front of the Empire State Building singing the national anthem of a foreign country?

The most outrageous thing is some people would actually do these things if they thought it would improve their life.

By now, you must be thinking this guy is out of his mind! No, I am actually quite sane. I have been watching people for over 25 years make positive changes to their life, without ever doing anything so risky as the examples above.

Change – What is it all about?

As an oblique overview, there are several things that should be considered about change.

◊ Change happens everywhere at all times.

◊ Change involves us, whether we want it or not.

◊ Change is a fact of Life. Get used to it.

◊ Change can be influenced in what direction it takes, by you.

Change – How can I Influence it?

To influence positive change to take place in and around your life, you must strengthen a few basic building blocks.

Mental Discipline– Take steps to exerciseand strengthen your brain and mind. Your mental capabilitiesare so far beyond what you do currently; you cannot even fathom what you are capable of achieving. Disciplining your mind starts with a commitment. It is always easier to make a commitment when you base it on a goal. For the sake of this exercise, let’s assume your goal is “for you to directly influence change”. When you are taking up a discipline, usually there will be exercises the strengthen you mind in some fashion. Most of the exercises will have something to do with enhancing your senses. By taking steps to enhance your senses, you are building structure. Some of that structure may be new, previously untapped read more...

If I ever give you a joke, you should cherish it as a unique day.  Well, today is a unique day.

Typical of the types of jokes that would have me rolling around on the floor laughing, usually leaves others wondering or thinking what the joke was all about.  My jokes tend to be deep, thought provoking, and like this joke, it pokes fun at society.

Without any further lead up to my twistedbrain teasingmind altering Joke, here it is:

I just had Rhinoplasty, because eyes nose too much.

Now for those of you that just didn’t get it, I’ll give you a hint. Say, “Eyes Nose too much” 3 times fast and out loud.  You should be able to get it then.

Since I invented the joke, if you wish to pass it on, just let people know where you saw it first www.MINDtoMIND.comHopefully it will go viral (doubt it…).

DISCOVER MIND POWER – MENTAL PICTURES AND RELEVANT EVENTS

It all begins with your ability to use your brain, especially your Photographic Memory.  This is a real experience I recently had that expresses how much fun it can be when you have good access to your photographic memory, and the mental agility to play connect the dots with relevant information.

During a conversation, I needed an analogy for the difference between what we perceive we want, and what can happen when the thing we think we want, we get; and then things go terribly wrong.  (This often happens in forming relationships.)

So out of my infinite resources a ‘saying’ pops up.  This saying is old, outdated, but very valid for what I am disclosing to the other person.

Don’t live under the Jackfruit tree

WOW! That IS obscure!…

First, Jackfruit, when it is ripe and opened up has many small fruit inside.  Like opening a treasure chest.   But these fruit grow in a pod.  Each pod can each weigh up to 40 kilos, or about 85 pounds.

When these fruit pods fall, it reminds us of Manna from Heaven.  But, on the other hand, if one falls on you, you could be seriously injured or even die from the experience.  So, what we are looking at is a ‘mixed blessing’ or ‘too much of a good thing’.  That is why it makes it such an appropriate analogy.

You may find yourself really wanting something with all your heart.  It may even come your way or be given to you.  But once it is yours, you may find it is a lot more than you bargained for.

How can you prevent this from happening?  Learn to use your mind.  Your brain is truly powerful.  Use it!  If you know how to ask, it can steer you clear of the roughest waters.

ZOXing, or Mental Photography not only taps into your photographic memory, it can also give you the balance you need; so you don’t find yourself “Living under the Jackfruit tree”.

WHAT ZOXING CAN DO FOR YOU! | PHOTOGRAPHIC MEMORY

You weren’t born with the users manual to your own brain. So, how can you possibly be expected to know how to use the best functions of your brain automatically? You can’t be expected to know those things, right?

What you rely on from the time you were born is what everybody else is telling you and teaching you. Some of these things may be destructive. Some of these things may inhibit you from being your best. And because they play in the background, you don’t even know they’re there… We refer to this as baggage…

In order for you to be the best you can be, you need tools – easy to use tools – tools that utilize the correct, natural functionality of your brain and the tools to help you clear out the baggage that holds you back. That is what ZOX Pro Training can do for you. We teach the primary tools you need to reduce your baggage and get your life on track.

Your baggage is held in the subconscious part of your brain. Mental Photography, or ZOXing, creates a very strong rapport between the conscious and subconscious parts of your brain. It gives you the access you need to make those changes that you want.

Indeed, ZOXing is a tremendous exercise for your brain because it does so many things at the same time.

How Does Brain Management Look at Recession? Use Your BRAIN !

How Does Brain Management Look at Recession?

Use Your BRAIN !

This is an exercise in the application of Mental Photography (ZOX)

I like topaint pictures. More precisely, I like to paint pictures for you to have some idea what it would be like for you to be usingMental Photography. And, if you already use Mental Photography, how to broaden your scope and use it better. There is event that everyone in the world are now sharing.Economics. Yikes! How do you react? This exercise will help you assess what part you are playing.

First, gain information fast by using Mental Photography (ZOXing)

When thepost-war economybegan to slump following WWII, since theGreat Depressionwas still a memory, the president didn’t want to suggest that the USA was heading back to that, so the word ‘Recession’ was born. Today, this would e referred to as ‘slant’.

Qualities of the word “Recession”:

Sounds friendlier, like schoolchildren at recess, or just taking a break from profitable business.

“It’s merely a recession.”

Italleviates public panic
No-one can agree on what it is, or what defines it. Thus, by the word ‘recession’ being so ambiguous, we could be in a ‘depression’ without the public even realizing it.

Depression:

Let’s gain perspective about another word –DEPRESSION. Now, depression is defined 2 ways, as astate of economy, and as astate of mind. The two are tenaciously linked. The economic state becomes the mental state, which then supports the economic state –a vicious cycle.
Today, the world is faced again with the same dilemma. Is it a recession, a depression, or what? What is thetruth? Again,Mental Photography (ZOXing)comes to the rescue. Because read more.
